I don't think a new map is needed, we know by now no total map is possible. I think the goal is to understand a transcendent principle and adapt it to a specific context, with no universal ambitions.

Hmm interesting. I'm inclined towards the mapping but accepting the map will need to be redrawn again and again. But I'm wondering what you mean by understanding a transcendent principle and adapting said principle to a specific context. Can you me more on this?

Understanding something of the metaphysical order. For example, nobody has quite succeeded in adapting non-duality to the Western context. There so many dualisms in the West, it would be mighty useful if someone could make them all go away.

The author of this essay was once upon a time closely associated with Ken Wilber.

Are you talking about me? Or the author of the piece you linked?

Also can you please stop spam posting your Adi Da links (who as it turns out was closely associated with Ken Wilber and whose nefarious sexual abuse and psychological manipulation of his cult members was part of Wilber's own downfall (he wouldn't back away from him))

My take on it is that Nietzsche was misunderstood a lot. Nietzsche never had or promoted nihilism. Nietzsche analyzed and developed solutions to nihilism.

It seems to me that from this article, The Living Philosophy may misunderstand this. Nietzsche always had orientation.

I haven't found a valid improvement over Nietzsche since Nietzsche died. Any philosopher, from my research, that has come along since Nietzsche has at best only been able to slightly add to what he talked about. Yet, they never surpassed Nietzsche's work regarding nihililsm.

That's exactly what I do on my own publication.
